The Thunderduck’s Quack was loud and strong at the opening meet of the 2026 season, with a decisive win over Chesterbook Tigersharks (41-27).

Scoring career personal bests, Babi Aldonas captured first and Zach Ervin placed second in the Freshmen Boys event. Freshmen Jane Latta and Mikey Reilly participated in their first A meets, joining our returning Freshmen, Ella Aldonas, Joanna Chen, and Michael Bui.

Emma Perkins and Zach Mathieson took home first in the Junior Girls and Junior Boys, respectively.

All of our Intermediate and Senior divers scored career personal bests. The Thunderducks swept the top 3 of the Intermediate Boys, with Toby Chen in first, Joe Mathieson in second, and Ben Panko in third. Thomas Dombrowski rounded out our order and had a great night. Helen Butler and Hannah Ax took home second in the Intermediate Girls and Senior Girls, respectively. Finally, in the Senior Boys, Logan DiBenigno picked up first, while Christopher Crepeau took home second.

Next week, the Thunderducks take on the Tuckahoe Flying Tigers at DH in the A meet on Tuesday. Developing divers will take on the Wakefield Chapel Wahoos in the season’s first B meet on Thursday.
