Welcome to Dominion Hills Diving!
The Dominion Hills Dive Team helps athletes gain strength and confidence in a safe environment while having fun along the way. They will develop many skills as they move on to more advanced dives. Diving offers a unique mix of individual and team accomplishments.
The dive team accepts divers from age 6 to 18. The minimum requirement is to have already passed the swim test and be able to jump off the board.
In addition to the practices and meets, there will be a Season Kick-Off Party, a Lip Sync Contest, Friday Breakfasts, Team Socials, and an Awards Banquet.
We know many divers have been working hard in the winter and it will be great to have all the Thunderducks back in the same pool again!
Per Northern Virginia Swimming League rules, you must be a member (or rental) of the Dominion Hills Area Recreation Association (or another pool with an NVSL swim team without diving) to join the Dominion Hills dive team. Our dive program is not possible without volunteers so please check out volunteer opportunities by clicking the Volunteer Opportunities tab at the top of the homepage. Also consider going to a NVSL volunteer clinic. Attending a clinic is a great way to learn more about how to be a meet judge, table worker and/or referee. Even if you are not interested in judging a meet, the Judges Clinics are a super way to lean more about the sport of diving!

We are still working on our social calendar, so refer to the team calendar for more details and the meet schedule. Key dates include:
- Monday, May 18: Evening practices begin
- Monday, May 25: Memorial Day - no practice
- Wednesday, May 27: Season Kick Off Social
- Monday, June 22: Morning practices begin
- Friday, July 3: Independence Day Celebration - no practice
- Friday, July 10: Lip Sync
- Friday, July 17: End of practices for divers not participating in Divisionals or All Stars
- Friday, July 24: End of Season Banquet and Awards
- Friday, July 31: End of all practices
