Dear DH Dive Families,

We hope that you’ve had a great Memorial Day weekend! Here are a few dive team reminders:

• Evening practice begins tomorrow, Tuesday, May 29. Your diver can attend either the 6:30pm or 7:30pm practice.

• Please send extra towels and/or robes with your divers – we hate seeing your cute kids with purple lips and chattering teeth!

• Text DHDIVE to 84483 to receive text weather alerts regarding practice & meet cancellations and delays. If the weather is questionable, a text will be sent by 6:00pm. Since we are dependent on receiving pool closure information from other sources, we appreciate your understanding regarding cancellations due to inclement weather conditions.

• We will be using our version of the “Hello, my name is” name tag during the first few weeks of practice. Washable markers will be used to write divers’ names on their arms and legs. The coaches & team find this to be a great way to get acquainted!

• We are excited to start using our new Tivo System down at the dive well. This system will allow divers to see the dive that they just executed off of the board by viewing it on a monitor which helps them recognize areas of strength and weakness.

• Food and drinks can now be enjoyed during evening practice until 8:00pm. Staff is not available so parents are asked to tidy up after their family and use the designated trash bins.

• Only swimmers and divers are allowed on deck during practice.

• Please share questions and concerns with Thomas and me and allow our great coaches to focus on coaching.
